  • --The Listening Prayer Initiative--

We recently began The Listening Prayer Initiative

at Shoregate UMC and we invite you to join us!!

We listen to God, by praying daily.

Please use the prayer below. downarrow

We suggest you copy & print it, then tape the prayer to:

your fridge, your bathroom mirror, your car dashboard,

wherever you will see it, and say it daily.

    September's Prayer is:

Lord of All Creation, we give You thanks for the many wonders you provide for our pleasure. Forgive us when we fail to notice Your mighty works. Open our eyes and ears to fully appreciate the countless things You have carefully placed for our enjoyment, and help us to share those gifts with others that they may experience them as well and give thanks, honor, and glory to You. Guide us in our daily lives as well, oh Lord, that we may see, hear, and become aware of the countless opportunities You provide to us every day to bring others closer to You. Help us to find the correct words to speak and proper actions to take in order to reach our neighbors and guide them to recognize Your mighty power in all they encounter so that they, too, will see that You are an Awesome God! In Your Majestic Name we pray, Amen.
